Marketing Trainee
We’re looking for a Marketing Trainee and are passionate about creating the most beautiful and useful travel experiences in the world.
walk this way was founded by Berta in 2016. It started with the city map BertaBerlin for Berlin and Neukölln. Currently we released six city maps for Berlin:
- BertaBerlin Map for Charlottenburg, Kreuzberg, Mitte und Neukölln
- QueerBerlin Map for LGBT-friendly spots in Berlin
- BeautyBerlin Map for all the beautiful spots like spas and salons in Berlin
- YogaBerlin Map in collaboration with lululemon
As well as we are designing walks through Berlin e.g. Airbnb and customized maps for companies like Deliveroo Berlin and ESMT Berlin. We’re nimble and creative, we obsess over our German capital and have fun working together. Join us and help define the future of travel experience.
We’re looking for a Marketing Trainee
What do you have to do as a Marketing trainee?
- Development of brand awareness and online reputation
- Content management: Creating content and a publishing schedule
- Website content and Social Media content: Writing two articles (SEO) and seven posts in English per week
- Writing two newsletters in English per month
- Renewing the already released travel guides
- Location scouting for new travel guides in Berlin
- Pro-actively sourcing potential partners and sponsors
- Developing and presenting creative and bespoke partnership proposals
What do you need?
Don't worry, everything can be learned ;)
- Strong written communication skills, especially in English
- Internet Fluency must know how to surf the Internet; conduct online research
- Basic understanding of what search engines are
- Fluency in Microsoft Word and Excel
As a Marketing Trainee you can learn about all the Marketing tools you need to get a job done, e.g. Mailchimp, Jimdo, InDesign, Photoshop, Business Manager, Hootsuite and Google Analytics. But more importantly you will get a feeling about the diversity of the job..
When does the Marketing traineeship start?
ASAP, so you can start right away ;).
Where would you work?
In case you live in Berlin, it would be Prenzlauer Berg and Neukölln.
We like to hire in Berlin, but we can work remotely as well.
