The street markets are something particularly wonderful in Berlin. But with too many people want to go. Popular street markets like Mauerpark have become a battle to walk through. So here you find less crowded street markets in Neukölln.
Schillermarkt
The Schillermarkt along the Herrfurthplatz is one of the oldest street markets in Berlin. It had up to 250 booths from the Herrfurthplatz to the Oker Street, but closed down in the 80th. On the weekly market vendors offer fresh vegetables from farms nearby. Once a month you also find hand-made crafts, jewellery, art and design objects here.

Nowkoelln Flowmarkt
It’s still small enough to have a unique look and still local enough to find your neighbor selling homemade cookies. But it’s hipper than other street markets since its participants and visitors are mostly international. You can still find odd little jewellies like old 1950s ornaments or locally hand-made products. And everything for street market prices.

Every second Sunday 10-17:30h
Floh-Kunst & Trödelmarkt
At Klunkerkranich you find a street market in the clouds on the rooftop of the Neukölln Arcaden. You can buy home-made nic-nacs and food. They also have an urban gardening project "Kulturdachgarten", which is run by interested urban gardeners and worth a look.Take the elevator to the 5th floor and find your way through the parking lot to the rooftop market and bar/club (Klunkerkranich).
