Berlin has a lot to offer and children are kept happy in Berlin by the many adventures playgrounds that pepper the city. Jannes from berlin-playgrounds.de helped me discovering them.
As Kreuzberg also has a lot of playgrounds, I selected my top 5 playgrounds in Berlin Kreuzberg for you.
Almost in Neukölln, but worth a visit:
This beautiful and very large playground in the middle of Hasenheide Park is very adventures and a lot of fun for kids.
Hasenheide 95
10967 Berlin (Kreuzberg)
Station U7, U8 Hermannplatz
Mondhügel is a huge playground with one of Berlin’s biggest slides at Görlitzer Park. Also great chillout place with an amazing view over Berlin.
Wienerstraße
10999 Berlin (Kreuzberg)
Station: U1 Schlesisches Tour
Opened in 2013, this beautiful park has some amazing playgrounds but on the west side you find big wooden climbing frame connected to a large water fountain play area. The park has different recreation areas for both children and adults: trampolines, fitness equipment, basketball, cycling paths and a skateboard park. Besides the playground you can enjoy a coffee in one of several cafés or a cold beer in a beer garden from the hipster brewery BRLO.
Flottwellstraße
10785 Berlin (Kreuzberg)
Station: U1, U2 Gleisdreieck
This playground is located right at the water and inside a beer garden Jockel. It is perfect for a family visit.
Ratiborstraße 14C

Station: U1Görlitzer Bahnhof
This playground is located in a little forest and offers a lot of shade, which comes in handy during summer.
Waldemarstraße 57
